Updates to road ride groups

As discussed at the AGM, our road ride groups have been tweaked for the 2023 season. The 34km/h group was dropped and the mid-paced groups have been adjusted to 23, 26, and 26 km/h. See the details on the Road Rides page.

2023 OCC Membership

Membership registration for the 2023 season will open to current members on March 5, 2023. Members will have one week to renew before it opens to the public. Return to Cycling Guidelines

In order to safely return to group cycling, a number of guidelines and policies have been implemented. All members should review this information prior to signing up for, and participating in, a sanctioned ride.

The Ontario Cycling Association (OCA) Progressive Return to Cycling Policy takes precedent over any information on this page.

All participants in club or team sanctioned activities should follow the Progressive Return to Cycling Guidelines along with the latest recommendations from the Ontario Government, Ontario Public Health, local public health units and medical experts prior to participating in any club/team activity including:

With the larger growth of cycling in Halton, and the growth of the club, I am proud of the fact that we are one of the most respected cycling clubs in the area.  But this success has brought about its own set of problems. 

Ride Leaders Needed!

Looking for a great way to support the OCC, all while doing the same riding you would be doing anyway? Consider becoming a Ride Leader. Ride Leaders help choose the route prior to the ride, then keep the group together and on pace during it. That’s it!
