2008 Road Race Calendar

There has been some question about what happens to our road races in the event of bad weather. In general, we will operate as follows:

Race officials are expected to arrive at the race course as scheduled and assess its condition.
A race will run unless the officials call it off on the day.
If the condition of the road is judged acceptable and atmospheric conditions such as fog and ice are absent then the race will be on.
If any riders turn up to race; the event will proceed.
If conditions worsen during the race it may be suspended by the officials or shortened.

Please note that as a timekeeper, you will need to arrive about 30 minutes before the race to set-up

Cost of racing: $2 for Oakville Cycling Club members, and $4 for Associates (members for other OCA affiliated club). Proof of membership required.
