2020 Season Update

Update as of May 13, 2020:

All cycling club activities in Ontario, including the Oakville Cycling Club, remain on hold. As an Ontario Cycling Association-sanctioned club, we follow the direction of the OCA and Cycling Canada.

Both organizations have advised that no organized activities (including rides, training, in-person coaching and events) should take place during the current period, in line with government advice on social gatherings and non-essential travel.

Please refer to the OCA and Cycling Canada websites for further information:

As the weather improves, many members will be riding outside. When doing so, please follow the guidance of Cycling Canada and the OCA:

  • Ride alone (or with members of your immediate household), ride safe and be self-reliant.
  • Resist the temptation to ride in groups. Do not organize group rides, only ride with people you already live with.

We will post any updates to this site, our club Facebook page, and via email, as we get them.
